  • Funai Service Corporation manages a dedicated call center to troubleshoot your electronic device and a service network of over 480 Authorized facilities nationwide for repairs. We are ready to assist you with any trouble you may experience with your device. Please call the phone number in the back of your owner's manual for help troubleshooting problems with your unit.

    The first and most important thing to know is if you have a copy of your receipt. The receipt is your proof of purchase and shows the date on which the purchase was made. This date will determine what type of warranty coverage your device has. Without a receipt we will have to calculate an estimated date of purchase that may be different from your actual date.

    Once you know whether you have your receipt, and if troubleshooting the device does not seem to fix the problem, you may need to get repair service. The Step-by-Step Guide will show you how to obtain this service for those with or without a receipt.

  • For those with a Copy of the Receipt:
    1. Use this website to find your nearest Authorized Repair Facility
    2. Contact the facility for Hours of Operation
    3. The Manufacturer's Limited Warranty on your Device is 90 Days Labor, and 1 Year Parts
      ○  If you are out of the 90 Days Labor Coverage you are responsible for any labor charges that may arise during your repair. Contact the Authorized Servicer for Rates
      ○  Any Extended Warranty you may have, you will have to contact the Extended Warranty Provider for Additional Coverage Details
    4. Drop off your Device or Schedule a Pick-up/In-home repair (for units that are eligible, Authorized Service Locations have a list of eligible Devices)
      ○   You will need to furnish the Authorized Servicer with a copy of your Receipt
    5. Funai Service Corporation and the Authorized Servicer will work together to supply parts and repairs to fix your Device as quickly as possible
    6. If there is not an Authorized Servicer within 40 miles of your location, call 1-888-290-0871 for Assistance completing the Repair Process
  • For those without a Copy of the Receipt:
    1. Call 1-800-242-7158 for Assistance with an estimated Date Of Purchase
      ○  You will be issued a Warranty Authorization to give to the Authorized Servicer for the repair
    2. The Call Center Agents can assist you with finding an Authorized Servicer in your area, or you can use this website to find one, once you have a Warranty Authorization from the Call Center.
    3. The Manufacturer's Limited Warranty on your Device is 90 Days Labor, and 1 Year Parts
      ○  If you are out of the 90 Days Labor Coverage you are responsible for any labor charges that may arise during your repair. Contact the Authorized Servicer for Rates.

  • Rapid Exchange:
    After speaking to our knowledgeable level one staff (1-800-242-7158), and troubleshooting your unit with them, you may need to have your unit exchanged.
    Our Rapid Exchange program is the second option. This option allows you, the customer, to receive your replacement unit in four to six weeks.
    When you contact us at our level two call center (1-888-290-0871), the agent will confirm your information with you. Name, address, phone number, model and serial number for your unit, and will ask for a brief description of what kind of problem you are having with your unit.
    How the Rapid Exchange program works:
    We will send you Federal Express labels to affix to your box. Once your unit is ready to be shipped, you will call 1-800-GO-FEDEX and ask them to come directly to your home, office, or wherever your unit happens to be, to pick the unit up, or if you prefer, you can also take your unit to the nearest authorized Federal Express shipper.
    Once we receive your unit, we will run it through our exchange line. We will then transmit this information to Funai Corporation and they will then issue your replacement unit.
    This process does take four to six weeks for you to receive your replacement unit.
